Switchbacks DH directions

Switchbacks Spain is located at 1300 metres in the charming mountain village of Bubion in the very heart of the beautiful region known as Las Alpujarras. Situated in Andalucia, Southern Spain on the edge of Sierra Nevada National Park.

Directions from Málaga Airport

Follow signs to MÁLAGA. After 2km there is a Campsa petrol station. After here keep in the righthand lane and take the the RONDA DE MÁLAGA direction MOTRIL/ALMERÍA.

Continue on this road (E15 / N340) heading east along the coast through Nerja (where the motorway currently terminates), La Herradura, Almuñécar & Salobreña.

Approx. 2 km past Salobreña turn off for GRANADA N323.

Travel north for approx. 13 km, taking the 2nd turning for VÉLEZ DE BENAUDALLA. Cross the bridge and turn left (direction ÓRGIVA).

Drive through Órgiva, then turn right (direction CAPILEIRA / TREVÉLEZ).

Two km. beyond Pampaneira, turn left for BUBIÓN.

Directions from Granada Airport

On leaving the airport, you will come out onto the motorway heading for Granada.

Turn off almost immediately, for SANTA FE/ GRANADA.

Drive through Santa Fe, continue 10 km to the Granada ringroad and follow directions for MOTRIL.

After approximately 37 km on the motorway, turn off for LANJARON.

Drive through Lanjaron via the bypass direction ÓRGIVA/ La Alpujarra and continue to ÓRGIVA.

Just before Orgiva turn left direction PAMPANIERA/ TREVELEZ.

Continue to BUBION.
