What you will need?

There's not much you'll need to take but here's a few recommendations:

  • Full face helmets and body armour. Knee, shin and elbow are a must but a jacket might not go amiss either.
  • Spares. We have Maxxis 2.5 DH tyres and tubes for sale at CRC prices so this will save you having to bring them out and risk extra weight costs. There is also a very well stocked DH specific bike shop close by for other spares. Mind spare mech hangers would be a good idea.
  • It can rain in March so a light waterproof wouldn't go amiss.
  • For the beach/ pool, sun factor 50, BIG towel, trashy novel, li-low, bikini or trunks. And for the bar you'll need your dancing shoes, Lynx and paracetamol.
  • €250 spending money should be sufficient for the week. There is a cash machine in the village if you run out.
  • Insurance - proof of medical insurance covering you for mountain biking and/or extreme sports is required just in case. No insurance - no riding! For European citizens, this must be supplemented with a European Health Card available online.
